However, in a recent podcast​ episode released on Monday, April 1,​ Shannen spoke of a difficult decision she⁢ has made to ease the‌ burden on her ⁤family, especially​ her mother, Rosa, when the inevitable occurs.

“I’m a fighter, and I believe in science. I know something⁤ will⁣ come along that will prolong⁤ my life,” Shannen shared.⁣ “But my priority at ​the⁤ moment is my ⁢mom.‌ I know it will be hard for her if I pass away before her.”

While acknowledging ​the emotional weight of her decision, Shannen also ⁤expressed ‍a sense of peace and calm in making it. “It may feel like⁣ giving up on something special and important, but deep down, I ‍know it’s the right thing to do,” she said.

In addition to giving away possessions, Shannen plans to sell items ⁤she has ⁤stored away in ⁢order to raise funds for travels with her mother. “Material possessions don’t⁢ bring me joy, but creating lasting memories ⁤with my mom does,” she shared.
